The Director: Alba Nalleli García
Alba Nalleli García is the Founder and director of the Mexican Folclore Ballet AGUA AZUL in Zurich. She studied ballet and contemporary dance at the Academia de la Danza Mexicana, INBA, obtaining the title of Concert Dance Performer (2001). She studied classical ballet, contemporary dance (Graham Techniques, Release and Lemon) and Pilates method at the Laban Center London Institute, London England (2000). She danced in Mexico in companies such asDanza Libre Universitaria and Grupo de Cámara de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (1998-2000); Choreographic Workshop of the UNAM (2001-2003); and the Russian Ballet Company (2001-2002). She was the founder, director and teacher of ballet and contemporary dance at the Academia de Ballet Coppélia (Mexico City, 1999-2008). She studied the degree in Modern Italian Language and Literature (UNAM), Bachelor and Master in Hispanic Language and Literature, with a specialty in linguistics (University of Bern 2010-2015). He is currently enrolled in a doctorate in Hispanic linguistics at the University of Bern and she teaches linguistics at the same University.
